For the rest, the numeric code should be used. It is also possible to use characters with codes from 128 to 255, but the graphic characters corresponding to those codes are system dependent. If the editor used allows it, graphic characters may be used for characters between 0 and 31, with the proviso that these are system dependent and may not be portable.
